• Enter one or more keywords.
  • Searches are not case sensitive.
  • Use "quotes" around keywords or string expressions. Example: "ISOCNTL"
  • If you do not use quotes at all, the search engine will treat the entry as if it were enclosed in quotes. Example: Entering Control Process is the same as entering "Control Process"
  • You can enter multiple keywords, such as "Control Process". Or you can enter a Boolean expression, using AND, OR and NOT. Example: "Control" OR "Process"
  • An alternative method for entering Boolean expressions is by using the +/- indicators before the keywords. Example: +"Control" +"Process"
  • Multiple keywords entered without a Boolean use the OR expression. Thus, entering "Control" "Process" is the same as entering "Control" OR "Process".
  • You can also use parentheses in Boolean expressions. For example, you can enter ("Control" and "Process") or "ISOCNTL".
  • Using AND, OR, or NOT without quotes will result in a search for the entire expression including the AND, OR, or NOT. Example: a search for Account AND Number (without quotes) will cause the search engine to look for the entire expression, "Account and number"
  • After entering the query, click the Search button or press Enter.
  • If no matches are found, reword your query and try again.
  • If matches are listed, click on a matched entry. For longer documents, you may have to wait a few moments while the document itself is searched.
  • You can check the option New Window in the Search menu to display the search results in a new pop-up window. This option allows you to preserve the search page's current results while you check the content of the target HTML page. Use Alt+Tab to switch between open browser windows.
